About College Planning Services Marilyn G. S. Emerson, President and founder of College Planning Services, Inc., specializes in college and graduate admission counseling. She received her BA from Queens College and an MSW from Fordham University School of Social Work.
Marilyn began working as an educational consultant in 1996 and founded College Planning Services in 2001. Prior to that time, she counseled children and families of children who had chronic or terminal illnesses.
